Daphne is a writer, translator, massage therapist, jewellery maker and passionate, if sometimes reluctant yogi. Forever torn between Athens and London, her native and her adopted city, she has recently come to accept her identity crisis, and no longer argues with people who accuse her of being a split-personality Gemini.

She has a collection of largely impractical qualifications, including a BA in Contemporary Arts, an MA in Creative & Life Writing, and an ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage, and is always looking for ways to combine her skills and experience to bring about opportunities for a more meaningful, creative and positive life for herself and others.

Her writing has appeared in a number of publications, online and in print (most recently on Elephant Journal), and has won a few (minor) awards. One of her multiple identities, This Reluctant Yogi, maintains a blog about her adventures in the yoga world. Daphne, however, is a writer, not a blogger, so visitors should be warned that her posts are LONG and often go off on weird tangents.

Daphne mostly makes her living from translations between Greek and English. She recently quit her job in a yoga centre in London, to spend a few months in Greece as a full-time writer. She also has passive-aggressive hamstrings, a very troublesome pelvis, and finds referring to herself in the third person a lot less awkward than trying to sound interesting in the first.

This is where she hangs out on the web, and posts news about what she's up to.
